This Cancellation Policy explains how CopyRefine's credit-based system works, how to cancel services, and how to manage or delete your account. CopyRefine is operated by CODEGENIX LTD (Company Number 16808123), Academy House 11 Dunraven Place, Bridgend, Mid Glamorgan, United Kingdom, CF31 1JF.

Overview

CopyRefine operates on a pay-as-you-go credit system. There are no recurring fees to cancel. Simply purchase credits when you need them and use them at your own pace. This policy outlines our credit system, service cancellation terms, and account management.

Credit System

Credit Purchases

Credit purchases are one-time transactions. Once purchased, credits are added to your account immediately and never expire. There are no recurring charges associated with credit packs.

Credit Refunds

Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Credits you have already spent are not refunded. See our Refund Policy for how to request a refund.

Credit Balance

You can view your current credit balance at any time in your account dashboard. Credits remain available until used, regardless of how long they sit in your account.

Cancelling AI Content Requests

Before any content is generated

Credits for an AI project are taken when you create the brief. If you delete the project from your dashboard before any content has been generated for it, every credit it was charged is returned to your balance straight away (100%).

After content has been generated

Once the AI has produced content for a brief, the credits for that content are spent and are not returned if you delete the project afterwards. Unspent credits on your balance are not affected.

Human Editor Services

An expert (human editor) review costs a fixed number of credits, shown before you send the request - for example 25 credits for a blog post. What happens to those credits if you cancel depends on how far the request has got:

1. Requested, not yet accepted by the editor - 100% returned

Until the editor accepts the job you can press "Withdraw request" on the project page. The expert review credits charged for that request are returned to your balance in full, immediately, and deleting the project at this stage returns them too. If you chose "AI + Expert Review" when you created the project, the review was paid for as part of the project: withdrawing keeps it paid, so you can send it to another editor at no extra charge.

2. Accepted or in progress - not returned automatically

Once the editor has accepted the job or started work, the request can no longer be withdrawn from the project page, and deleting the project does not return the expert review credits. If the editor does not deliver, or the work does not follow your brief, write to info@copyrefine.pro or use the contact form: we review the case and, where the review was not provided, restore the credits to your balance.

3. Delivered - no refund

Credits for an expert review that has been delivered are not returned.

Credits and money

Everything above concerns credits on your CopyRefine balance. Refunds of money for credits you bought are covered by our Refund Policy: Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Credits you have already spent are not refunded.

Account Deletion

How to Delete

To delete your CopyRefine account, go to Settings > Data & Account > Delete Account, enter your password (accounts that sign in with an emailed code skip this) and type DELETE to confirm. You can download a copy of your data from the same section first.

Data Retention

Deleting your account removes your account, profile, projects and purchase records straight away, as described in our Privacy Policy. It cannot be undone.

Unused Credits

Deleting your account deletes its credit balance. If you have unused credits bought in the last 14 days, ask for a refund before you delete the account.

Important Notes

No Recurring Fees: CopyRefine uses a credit-based system with no recurring charges. You only pay for what you need, when you need it.

Credits Never Expire: Purchased credits remain in your account indefinitely until used.

Refund Window: Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Credits you have already spent are not refunded.
